Used for mydriasis and/or cycloplegia. For cycloplegic refraction, for pupillary dilation desired in inflammatory conditions of the iris &, uveal tract.

Product Usage

Adults: 

For refraction; administer one or two drops topically to the eye(s) one hour before refraction.


NOTE: 1% strength is not recommended for use with children.


Children: 

For refraction; administer one or two drops of 1/2% solution to each eye twice daily for one to three days prior to examination.
For uveitis: administer one or two drops of 1/2% solution to each eye up to three times daily.

Ingredients

Each ml contains Atropine sulfate 10mg

Storage Information

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. Keep container tightly closed.

Warnings

For external use only. Pregnancy Category C: Animal reproduction studies have shown an adverse effect on the fetus and there are no adequate and well-controlled studies in humans; but potential benefits may warrant use of the drug in pregnant women despite potential risks. Interactions: Effects may be enhanced by concomitant use of other drugs having antimuscarinic properties; some antihistamines; phenothiazine antipsychotics & TCA's.
