Painting your nails in different colors is a great way to beautify your hands but removing nail polish is a tedious process. Some traditional nail polish removers even contain chemical that can be harmful to your nails and skin. Luckily, there are easy to do and natural alternatives to remove nail polish.
You can use alcohol or alcohol-based products to clear the nail polish. Rubbing alcohol is very effective in removing your nail paint, the stronger the alcohol content the better this will work. Also rubbing alcohol protects your nails from bacterial infections with its disinfectant property.
Vinegar is an all-purpose, all-natural remover to strip away your nail polish without damaging your nails, as it has acids that break the polish layer on your nails and removes it easily. For added effect, you can squeeze half a lemon into the vinegar, soak your fingers in warm water for 5 – 10 minutes and then rub the nails gently with the vinegar solution until the polish disappear.
Ordinary white toothpaste can also scrub away nail polish. Put a dollop of toothpaste on your nail, then scrub it with an old toothbrush or a paper towel. You can also add baking soda to the toothpaste to achieve the best results.
Apply a new nail polish, preferably one with a darker shade and something will not dry too quickly on your nails. Applying the second coat can add moisture to the old nail polish, it allows the polish to return to a liquid state and be wiped away easily. Apply new polish to one nail at a time, then immediately wipe off the nail polish once it is applied, for the best result, use a paper towel. Just repeat painting and wiping until your nails are all polish free.
