Steps to apply gel eyeliner
Step 1: Clean your eyelids
Add eye makeup remover to a cotton pad and swipe quickly across your eye lids. Doing so will make sure your eye lid is clean without any leftover makeup or excess oil.
Step 2: Apply primer
Priming your eye lid is important as this will improve the eyeliner’s staying power. This will also make eye shadow last longer, if you are planning to apply some as well.
Step 3: Choose the right brush

Step 4: Dip and swirl
Dip and swirl the brush around the gel eye liner pot. Make sure both sides of the brush have product on. Take the excess off.
Step 5: Draw the line
Start in the middle of the lash line and draw a line towards the outer eye, finishing with a light flick resembling a cat eye. After that, draw a line from the inner eye towards the middle, completing the line. If you have hooded eyes, simply stretch the lid gently with your finger to draw the perfect line.
Step 6: Intensify the look
