Baby’s skin is thin and fragile. Newborn babies are prone to skin irritations like diaper rash and eczema. Parents require to provide extra care to keep your baby’s skin healthy. Here are some simple tips to strengthen your baby’s skin protective barrier.
(1) Use fragrance-free and tear-free baby shampoo and body wash
Baby shampoo and body wash should be gentle on baby’s skin and hair to avoid skin allergies. Use a mild body wash and a tear-free baby shampoo to cleanse your baby’s sensitive skin gently with lukewarm water. Don’t use antibacterial soaps as they may be too harsh for baby’s skin.
(2) Use a mild baby lotion to moisturize baby’s skin
Don’t bath your baby too often due to this will strip away the moisture and natural oils of baby’s skin.
