Product Usage

May be taken with or without food. Directions for Reconstitution: To make a 60 mL suspension; add 38 mL of water to 250 mg/5 mL Cefaclor Powder for Oral Suspension. Shake well until the contents are evenly suspended.

Ingredients

Each 5 mL of reconstituted suspension contains 250 mg of Cefaclor (as monohydrate).

Storage Information

Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. The reconstituted suspension is stable for 14 days when refrigerated (2-8°C) and 7 days if stored at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.

Warnings

Prolonged used may result in overgrowth of nonsusceptible organisms. Pseudomembranous colitis. Penicillin-sensitive patients; history of allergy. Monitor renal & hematological status during prolonged & high-dose therapy. Contains tartrazine which may cause allergic reactions in susceptible persons. Side Effects: Skin rashes; urticaria; eosinophilia; fever; serum sickness-like anaphylactic reactions; acute interstitial nephritis.
