Used for the management of acute bronchitis, acute exacerbations of chronic bronchitis, bronchiectasis with infection, secondary infections in chronic respiratory tract diseases, pneumonia. UTI including pyelonephritis, cystitis &, cystourethritis, uncomplicated gonorrhoea.

Warnings

Elevated carbamazepine levels with carbamazepine. Increased oral bioavailability with nifedipine. Increased prothrombin time with or without clinical bleeding with warfarin & other anticoagulants.
