Used in the symptomatic treatment of OA RA. Relief of signs symptoms of ankylosing spondylitis (AS). Acute pain; primary dysmenorrhea acute chronic lower back pain.

Product Usage

Take this medication by mouth as directed by your doctor. Read the Medication Guide and the Patient Information Leaflet if available from your pharmacist before you start taking and each time you get a refill. May be taken with or without food. For patients with swallowing difficulties; open cap & empty contents in 1 tsp (5 mL) applesauce/rice gruel/yogurt/mashed banana. Swallow immediately with water.

Ingredients

Each capsule contains 400 mg of Celecoxib.

Storage Information

Store at a temperature not exceeding 25°C. The sprinkled capsule contents on applesauce; rice gruel or yogurt are stable for up to 6 hours under refrigerated conditions (2°C-8°C or 35°F-45°F). The sprinkled capsule contents on mashed banana should not be stored under refrigerated conditions.

Warnings

Increased risk of serious CV thrombotic events; MI & stroke; GI bleeding or inflammatory conditions; renal & liver impairment; dehydration Pregnancy (3rd trimester) & lactation. Elderly. Side Effects: flushing; cough; vomiting; abdominal pain; diarrhea; dyspepsia; flatulence; gastric ulcer
