Used in the treatment of steroid-responsive inflammatory ocular conditions for which a corticosteroid is indicated &, where bacterial infection or a risk of bacterial ocular infection exists. Post-op inflammation &, other ocular inflammation associated with infection. Allergic keratoconjunctivitis with secondary bacterial infections.

Product Usage

The recommended dosage regimen for the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis is one or two drops three to four times a day depending upon the evaluation of the attending physician.

Ingredients

Each mL of solution contains Ciprofloxacin hydrochloride equivalent to 3mg; 1mg of Dexamethasone; and 0.1mg of Benzalkonium chloride as preservative.

Storage Information

Keep cap tightly closed after use. Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.

Warnings

Not for inj into the eye. Monitor IOP if used for ?10 days. Glaucoma with damage to optic nerve; defects in visual acuity & fields of vision & posterior subcapsular cataract formation (prolonged use). Perforation in diseases causing thinning of cornea or sclera. May mask infections in acute purulent conditions. Pregnancy & lactation. Childn.
