Used in the treatment of upper &, lower resp tract, skin &, soft tissue, bone &, joint, gynecological, intra-abdominal infections, septicemia &, endocarditis, dental infection, toxoplasmic encephalitis &, Pneumocystis jiroveci pneumonia in AIDS patients, malaria. Prophylaxis of endocarditis in patients sensitive/allergic to penicillin, infection in neck &, head surgery.

Product Usage

May be taken with or without food. Swallow whole w/ a full glass of water & in an upright position.

Ingredients

Each capsule contains 300 mg of Clindamycin hydrochloride.

Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.

Warnings

Pseudomembranous colitis presented as diarrhea; overgrowth of nonsusceptible organims. Not for use in the treatment of meningitis. Perform liver & kidney function test for prolonged therapy. Fatal gasping syndrome in premature infants for IV formulation due to benzyl alcohol content. Pregnancy & lactation. Side Effects: Pseudomembranous colitis; eosinophilia; dysgeusia; cardioresp arrest; hypotension; thrombophlebitis; diarrhea; abdominal pain; nausea; vomiting; abnormal liver function test; rash maculopapular; urticaria; pain abscess.
