Diane Pills is for the treatment of androgen-dependent diseases in women, such as acne, especially pronounced forms and those which are accompanied by seborrhea or by inflammation or formation of nodes (acne papulopustulosa, acne nodulocystica), androgenetic alopecia and mild forms of hirsutism.

Diane Pills contains a combination of two ingredients: Cyproterone acetate and Ethinylestradiol.

What is Cyproterone acetate and Ethinylestradiol in Diane Pills?

1. Cyproterone acetate belongs to a group of medications known as antiandrogens. It is used in the treatment of hypersexuality in males, as a palliative in prostatic carcinoma, and, in combination with estrogen, for the therapy of severe acne and hirsutism in females.

2. Ethinylestradiol belongs to a group of medications known as estrogens. It is used as contraception to prevent pregnancy.
