Warnings

Perform liver function test prior to therapy. Patients on multiple anticonvulsants; children with congenital metabolic disorders; severe seizure disorders. Pregnancy & lactation. Children. Elderly. Side Effects: Headache; asthenia; fever; nausea; vomiting. Inhibits hepatic metabolism of phenytoin. Increase blood levels of propofol. Increase plasma concentration of nimodipine.
