Warnings

Special Precautions: Clearance may be decreased & t½ increased in patients w/ CV failure; renal or hepatic dysfunction; COPD; or those undergoing influenza immunization or w/ active influenza infection; taking other drugs (eg; cimetidine; allopurinol; propranolol; erythromycin; troleandomycin; lincomycin & ciprofloxacin). Clearance may be increased & t½ decrease in patients taking phenytoin & other anticonvulsants; smokers. Patients w/ peptic ulcer; hyperthyroidism; hypoxemia; CV disorders including cardiac arrhythmias; angina pectoris; acute myocardial injury or HTN; convulsive disorders. Pregnancy. Childn. Elderly.
