Treatment of upper &, lower resp tract, skin &, soft tissue infections of mild to moderate severity. Primary syphilis in penicillin-allergic patients. Uncomplicated urethral endocervical &, rectal infections due to C. trachomatis. Prophylaxis for pertussis. Intestinal amoebiasis, diphtheria &, erythrasma. Conjunctivitis in newborn, pneumonia in infants &, urogenital infections during pregnancy. Infections due to Listeria monocytogenes.

Product Usage

Should be taken on an empty stomach: Best taken 1 hr before or 2 hr after meals. May be taken w/ meals to reduce GI discomfort. Take this medication as directed by your doctor. Read the Medication Guide and the Patient Information Leaflet if available from your pharmacist before you start taking and each time you get a refill.

Ingredients

Each 5mL of suspension contains 250mg of Erythromycin estolate.

Storage Information

Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C.

Warnings

Impaired hepatic function. Monitor creatinine kinase & serum transaminase levels. Pseudomembranous colitis. Pregnancy & lactation. Infants.Interactions with theophylline; digoxin; anticoagulant; ergotamine or dihydroergotamine; triazolam; midazolam.
