INDICATIONS: Management of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in patients w/ an enlarged prostate to cause regression of the enlarged prostate & improves urinary flow & symptoms associated w/ BPH; reduces the incidence of acute urinary retention & need for surgery including transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) & prostatectomy. Male-pattern baldness (alopecia androgenetica) in men.
