Indications / Uses:

- Edema associated with congestive heart failure, hepatic cirrhosis, corticosteroid and estrogen therapy

- Edema due to various forms of renal dysfunction (e.g., nephritic syndrome, acute glomerulonephritis, and chronic renal failure)

- Control of essential hypertension

Product Usage

Adult : PO Hypertension Initial: 12.5 mg daily, may be increased up to 50 mg daily as necessary, either alone or with other antihypertensive. Dosage is individualised and may be titrated according to patient condition. Max: 100 mg daily. Oedema 25-100 mg daily in 1-2 divided dose. Dose may be administered on alternate days or on 3-5 days each week. Max: 200 mg daily.
