Used for the treatment and management of acute bronchospasm associated with COPD including chronic bronchitis &, asthma in concomitant use with inhaled &beta,-agonists. Maintenance for bronchospasm associated with COPD including chronic bronchitis, emphysema &, asthma.

Product Usage

Administer only if directed by physician. Adult (including elderly) & adolescent >12 yr Acute attacks 1 vial; may repeat doses until patient is stable. Max: 2mg daily. Maintenance treatment 1 vial three to four times a day.

Ingredients

Each unit dose vial (2mL) contains 500 mcg of ipratroprium bromide.

Storage Information

Store at temperatures not exceeding 30°C. Protect from direct sunlight.

Warnings

Bronchodilatory effect may be intensified by ?-adrenergics & xanthine prep. Increased risk of acute glaucoma in patients w/ history of narrow-angle glaucoma in concurrent use of ?-mimetics. Predisposed narrow-angle glaucoma; pre-existing urinary outflow tract obstruction (eg; prostatic hyperplasia or bladder-neck obstruction); cystic fibrosis. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Pregnancy & lactation. Side effcets: Headache; throat irritation; cough; dry mouth; GI motility disorders (including constipation; diarrhoea & vomiting); nausea; dizziness.
