It is indicated for the treatment of adults (>,18 years of age) with mild, moderate, and severe infections caused by susceptible strains of the designated microorganisms as:

Community-Acquired Pneumonia, Nosocomial Pneumonia, Acute Bacterial Sinusitis, Acute Bacterial Exacerbation of Chronic Bronchitis, Complicated Skin and Skin Structure Infections, Chronic Bacterial Prostatitis, Complicated Urinary Tract Infections and Acute Pyelonephritis.

Product Usage

The usual dose of Levofloxacin Tablets or Oral Solution is 250 mg, 500 mg, or 750 mg administered orally every 24 hours, as indicated by infection and described in Table 1.These recommendations apply to patients with creatinine clearance > 50 mL/min. For patients with creatinine clearance <50 mL/min, adjustments to the dosing regimen are required.
