Used for the treatment of benign euthyroid goiter, prophylaxis of relapse after surgery for euthyroid goiter, substitution therapy in hypothyroidism, suppression therapy in thyroid cancer, concomitant supplementation during anti-thyroid drug treatment of hyperthyroidism.
