Warnings

Special Precautions: Increased risk of suicidal thoughts. Metabolic risk; orthostatic hypotension; seizures. Risk of neuroleptic malignant syndrome; severe neutropenia & agranulocytosis; wt gain; hyperglycemia; QT prolongation; cardiomyopathy & myocarditis; dysphagia; constipation & intestinal obstruction; pancreatitis. Monitor lipid changes. Development of akathisia. Discontinue use if tardive dyskinesia occurs. Avoid abrupt w/drawal. May impair ability to drive or operate machinery. Hepatic or renal impairment. Elderly. Childn. Pregnancy & lactation.
