Treatment of atopic dermatitis.

Tacrolimus ointment should be used for patients who are not adequately responsive to or are intolerant of conventional therapies.

Product Usage

For adults apply 0.03% or 0.1% tacrolimus ointment.

For children aged 2 to 15 years apply only 0.03% tacrolimus ointment.

Treatment Once or twice a day application to the a? ected areas.

If signs of a ? are reoccur, twice daily treatment should be re-initiated.

Tacrolimus ointment is not recommended for children younger than two years of age.

Long term continuous use of tacrolimus ointment is not recommended.

Ingredients

Active ingredient:

tacrolimus Ointment formulation: 1g of tacrolimus ointment 0.03% contains 0.3 mg of tacrolimus as an anhydrous base and 1g of tacrolimus ointment 0.1% contains 1 mg of tacrolimus as anhydrous base.

List of excipients: liquid para? n, para? n, propylene carbonate, white petrolatum, white wax.

Warnings

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Tacrolimus ointment is contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any component of this product.

SPECIAL WARNINGS AND SPECIAL PRECAUTIONS FOR USE: Patients with atopic dermatitis are predisposed to skin infections. In the presence of clinical skin infection
